I haven't listed something here before, so sorry in advance to the mods if it's not kosher.

I am selling the 18in. Laguna wheels from my 2013 GTI; they have Pirelli P-Zero Neros with about 10,500 miles on them. Bolt pattern is 5x112, size is 18x7.5 et51. Tires are 225/40R18.

I am located in northern Virginia, and am willing to deliver. Obviously the wheels will be cleaned before sale; my new wheels will be mounted on Wednesday.

The reason I am selling is that I hit a massive pothole and bent my right front wheel. It is not repairable. The other wheels are in excellent shape, no curb rash/nicks/etc.

Pics attached. If interested, comment or text me at 571-209-7709. Willing to sell single wheels as well. Price is $675 for all four (or just the three if you like), or $170 for a single wheel.

I saw a set of those (or something really, really similar) on a black Alpina B7 last week. T'was strange...

While you're technically correct, I clicked this hoping they'd fit my beater DD. But it's not like he's the first (and won't be the last) and he clearly made an apology to the mods if it was inappropriate. I'm assuming you are not a moderator as I had to click this out of the gray. I would prefer this over red Tuesday or white Wednesday any day of the week.

OK, so I think it was actually these "type 238" BMW wheels.

Kinja'd!!!

Anyways, looked wrong on an Alpina.

interesting.

Saw a purple-ish B7 yesterday on my way home; pretty cool. Better wheels, but no SR20 because it's too crashy in the rain/traffic.

Correct - I just thought maybe someone on oppo might be interested, so I posted it. If it's acceptable, when I am ready to sell my Volvo 240DL I may post a link to Craigslist as well. You guys are cool, and I'd rather know my stuff was going to someone who will care for it than some random dude on Craigslist. Again, if it's not acceptable, I am sure a mod will let me know.

No problem. Wish they'd fit my jetta. But I've got 5x110. Good luck though.

Unrelated, really, but these are the wheels I am getting. VMR V701, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sports with less than 5k miles on them. Purchased off this exact Golf R, which is a gorgeous Stage 2+ (Unitronic) belonging to a friend and coworker of mine. He's selling them to get 3SDM 0.06's, which I am very jealous of. Hah.

Nice! A friend of mine had a MKIV with a 5sp for years; it ended up being rear ended by a texting child in a Suburban. He walked away, luckily. I've always liked the styling of that generation.

Me too. I like it much better than the current gen. It's just my beater so it's nothing special. I may sell it come tax season and get something else just 'cuz.

Hah, solid. Anything in particular you're eyeing?

I'd really like an S2000 or maybe another Z car. Even a MkIV GTI or something like that. Dunno yet. Just needs to get relatively decent mileage and I need to be able to make money when I sell it.

An S2000 would be sick. Haven't driven any Z cars yet, and don't much care for the 350/370Z styling. If I got one I'd probably look for a 240 or 280Z; I just love the looks.

Ever thought about a BMW? My dream project car is a Euro 635csi...light, tasteful drop, BBS, and black or blue exterior.

I loved my 350Z. Drove like a go cart. My friend had an S2000. Lot of similarities in performance. But the 8-9K redline (depending on year model) is just sweet on the S2K.

I love BMWs. I almost bought a 135is instead of my new Jeep, but figured I would enjoy rock crawling and off-roading more than tracking the 1 series. Besides, I've got a bike for track days.

I had a 325 before but considering I would be buying a used one to use as a DD, German parts can be pricey even if I do all the repairs myself. Even the mkIV is a little pricey on parts. And I'm talking basic stuff like fluids, filters, gaskets. But I am using genuine VW parts (had bad luck when I didn't).

Good to know; I'll have to drive one sometime. Also, yes. A friend had an S2000 with a Borla (I think?) exhaust - it sounded amazing when the revs climbed up there.

BMW can definitely be expensive, haha. I'll probably be looking for an older model (E30 325, maybe older) one of these days, but not until I have a new vehicle for my wife. :/

Understandable. Get one before the price hits collector status. Every time I look, it's gets higher. =|
